What to discuss with the care team
- Confirm the follow-up arrangements for both the grafted area and the donor site, when applicable.
- Keep the procedural clinician’s instructions available to family members, home health and facility nurses.
- Contact the surgical team if a dressing loosens, graft edges lift or pain or drainage increases.
- Ask the procedural team before changing dressings, skin products or activity restrictions.
